Standards

Editorial policy

The rules that protect the usefulness, independence and traceability of our survey software reviews.

Editorial independence

Product vendors do not approve our copy, rankings or category winners before publication. Commercial relationships, if introduced, must not determine inclusion, scoring or verdicts and must be disclosed clearly where relevant.

Sources and attribution

Material feature, pricing, security and availability claims should link to a current source. We prefer official product pages and documentation. When a source is a vendor comparison page, we treat claims about competitors cautiously and seek direct confirmation.

Fair comparisons

We compare tools against the job they are designed to perform. Enterprise research depth is not scored as universally better than simplicity, and marketing automation is not presented as a substitute for statistical research capability.

AI-assisted work

Automation may help organize evidence, check consistency and create machine-readable formats. Final rankings, claims and recommendations remain subject to the same sourcing and editorial rules. Generated text is not accepted as evidence by itself.

Corrections

We correct factual errors promptly and update related machine-readable records. See Corrections for what to submit.
